State Vision News Service Samba, August 1 As part of the series of events under Swachhta Pakhwada, a Swachhta pledge was taken by district officers, officials, students, NSS Volunteers, and staff members at the Conference Hall Samba. Deputy Commissioner Samba, Abhishek Sharma, addressed the participants, emphasizing that the aim of Swachhta Pakhwada is to inculcate civic sense and a sense of belonging among the citizens. He also directed the officers to visit the families of martyrs during the plantation drive, Ek Ped Maa K Naam, Ek Ped Shahidoon K Naam. The pledge taking ceremony, a cleanliness drive was organized in and around all the blocks of Government offices. Simultaneously, the pledge was taken in all offices at the tehsil and block levels. This campaign shall continue till 15th of August. The event saw the participation of all district officers, sectoral officers, students, and NGOs. District Sessions Judge Samba , District Legal Services Authority, Samba Rekha Kapoor Nischal, Secretary, DLSA Samba, organized a legal awareness programme on The Juvenile Justice Care and Protection of Children Act, 2015 for the Newly appointed Civil Judge Junior Division , Legal Aid Counsels, Members of JJB Samba, CWC Samba and DCP Unit Samba in the premises of Juvenile Justice Board, Samba. Adnan Sayeed, Chairman, DLSA Samba was the Chief Guest of the Programme who in his special address sensitized the newly appointed civil Judge Junior Division regarding Juvenile Justice Care and Protection of Children Act, 2015 , its importance for them and how they have to deal with children in conflict with whenever the CCLs will appear before them in future. Nawaz Shareef, District Child Protection Officer, Samba in his address highlighted the functioning of Mission Vatsalya in District Samba. The programme had the presence of Preet Simran k. Hitesh Sharma and Neemisha Rajput were the speakers of the programme. Panel Advocate Hitesh Sharma is in his address in detail the provision of Juvenile Justice Care and Protection of Children Act, 2015. Wherein Neemisha Rajput, Chairperson CWC Samba also spoke on the principles which are to be kept in mind by the Members of JJB and CWC while dealing with Children in need of Care and Protection and Children in Conflict with Law. Ananta Raina Special Mobile Magistrate Samba presented a formal welcome address whereas Ajay, Newly appointed civil Judge Junior Division presented vote of thanks on the occasion.
