Agencies Bandar Seri Begawan, Sept. 3 As part of his historic visit to Brunei, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stopped by the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque in Bandar Seri Begawan on Tuesday. The 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between India and Brunei coincides with the first ever bilateral visit of an Indian prime minister to the country in Southeast Asia. Prime Minister Modi was greeted with a formal greeting upon his arrival, during which he conveyed his eagerness to fortify bilateral relations, specifically in the areas of commerce and culture. Anticipating robust relations between our countries, particularly in enhancing economic and cultural exchanges.
