12 Naxals killed in encounter in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli

Agencies Gadchiroli, July 17 At least 12 Naxals were killed on Wednesday in an encounter with police and commandos in Maharashtra s Gadchiroli district, near Chhattisgarh border, officials told news agency said. Gadchiroli Superintendent of Police Nilotpal stated that the heavy exchange of fire broke out between C60 commandos and Naxals in Wandoli village in the afternoon. It lasted for six hours.
