Degree College Baramulla and Islamia College Srinagar in various streams of studies under different faculties namely Arts, Applied Social Sciences Humanities, Education, Interdisciplinary Applied Sciences, Music, Commerce Business Studies, Mathematical Sciences, Sciences, Social Sciences etc. Admissions to all UG Programs are done on the basis of the eligibility requirements, criteria, and procedures specified by the Universities on their websites, Under Graduate Bulletin of Information 2023 UG BoI . The eligibility criteria for every program offered at the UG level have been published in the UG Bulletin of Information 2023 UG BoI 2023 available on the website of the Universities Colleges. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria carefully from UG BoI 2023 of Universities as well as Colleges. There are no additional eligibility criteria besides the ones stipulated by the University through its website, UG BoI 2023.
For the academic year 2023 24, admission to all UG Programs of Government Degree Colleges of UT of J K will be done on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test Under Graduate 2023 CUET UG 2023 . The National Testing Agency NTA conducts CUET UG 2023. The candidate may note that the role of NTA is limited to the conduct of CUET UG 2023, declaration of results, and handling of queries related to the entrance examination. Simply appearing in CUET UG 2023 will not be a sufficient condition to secure a seat in Government Degree Colleges of J K. For admission to the Government Degree Colleges of J K UG Programs, a candidate has to apply on the portal https: jkadmission.samarth.ac.in. Before initiating the application process, the candidate is advised to read the contents of this document and UG BoI 2023 carefully. Notifications of the Universities available on their website shall be final and binding. Candidates applying to Government Degree Colleges of J K must refer to the University autonomous college specific U.G BoI 2023 for Common Minimum Eligibility criteria, Program Specific Eligibility, reservation and supernumerary quota criteria available on the University Website.
The candidate must refer to the list of Programs, Program Specific Eligibility Criteria, fee structure and other relevant information published on the website of the Universities. Determination of eligibility and verification of documents for admission to Government Degree Colleges of UT of J K, will be the sole purview of Government Degree Colleges of J K. Only the candidate who has appeared in CUET UG 2023 and has passed Class 12th from a recognized board will be eligible to apply for the online admission. Candidates who did not apply for CUET 2023 will be given a fair opportunity in the Late Entry Round of the admission for left over seats.
